Applicants must be individual persons who (a) will be a legal resident of the 50 U.S. states or District of Columbia as of August 2; (b) will be age 18 or older as of August 2; (c) are enrolled as a Graduate Student, or Undergraduate Student at an accredited U.S. college or university (see U.S. Dept. of Education Database at https://ope.ed.gov/accreditation/) for Fall; and (d) have a declared major of biology, chemistry, bio-chemistry or a related life science field. In addition, (i) Undergraduate Sophomores, Juniors, and Seniors must have cumulative college GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale; (ii) Undergraduate Freshmen must have a cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or greater on a 4.0 scale; and (iii) Graduate Students must have a cumulative graduate GPA of > 3.0 on a 4.0 scale and have received cumulative undergraduate GPA of > 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. Healthcare Professionals may not participate in this Program. The term Healthcare Professionals includes clinical or non-clinical physicians (including MDs and MDs/Ph.D.s), and physician assistants, nurses, technicians, research coordinators, administrators and purchasing personnel and entities (including hospitals, rehabilitation centers, nursing facilities, home health agencies, clinics and group purchasing organizations, managed care organizations, physician group practices, medical directors for health insurance organizations) and their employees and representatives who are involved in the actual provision of health care services. US federal or state government employees may not participate in this promotion. Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliates, distributors, sales representatives, and each of their respective officers, directors and employees (collectively, the %u201CProgram Entities%u201D), as well as the immediate family members and/or those persons living in the same households of the foregoing are not eligible to apply or win a scholarship in this Program. This Program is void where prohibited by law.

Enrolled in a degree-seeking undergraduate or graduate program and looking for design degree University is an accredited institution of higher learning This is not a design scholarship for interior design, but it is for fine arts, graphic design arts, visual arts, graphic communications, or any other graphic design program. Cumulative GPA of at least 3.9 scale Should be permanent resident of the United States of America or Canada There should be no gap between Bachelors and Masters Degree Be at least 18 years of age by the start of the program. Have graduated from high school or secondary school or equivalent. Have successfully completed at least one term of college or university courses following graduation from high school prior to applying. Should not be dropout. Should be a regular students.

This must be verified on a certification form signed by the applicant's homeless school liaison or a service/shelter provider. Been admitted to or enrolled in an accredited 2-year or 4-year public or private college or university for the 2022-23 school year as of May 6, 2022. Scholarships will not be awarded to attend for-profit schools. A cumulative, weighted high school or college grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher. The recipient of the Dakota Pequeno Memorial Scholarship will be a student who has shown perseverance in eliminating obstacles that epilepsy and seizures may present, courage in dealing with epilepsy/seizures, community involvement, and commitment to their education. Eligibility Requirements: Must have a diagnosis of epilepsy/seizure disorder and confirmed by a letter from a physician. Must be a high school senior or a high school graduate between the ages of 17-25. Must live in Michigan. For applicants going to school out-of-state, your permanent address must be located in Michigan. Must provide proof of acceptance to a post-secondary academic or vocational program. Must submit a completed application and one letter of recommendation, preferably from an educator. Write a short essay regarding epilepsy.

Applicant must meet all of the following criteria: Identify as a student of color graduating from a Minnesota high school Enroll as a full-time, first year student for the 2019-2020 school year at a MnACC member institution. For a full list of MnACC member institutions, please click here. Complete the scholarship application, including the required essay, and enrollment verification, if selected as a recipient. If applying for the President's Award, candidates must also submit an official high school transcript & letter of recommendation. Letter of recommendation can be uploaded by the student or emailed directly to [email protected].
