Be at least 20 years of age and have a high school diploma or G.E.D. Have had at least a two year break in education either after completing high school or during post-secondary (college) studies. Be admitted to an accredited Delaware college in a two or four year degree program at the undergraduate level. (Students who have previously earned a bachelor's degree are not eligible to apply.) Acquire a recommendation from a college representative, a nonprofit/government agency or an employer. Have at least a C average if currently enrolled in college. Certify financial need. Submit a completed application including a personal statement. Be available for a brief phone interview if selected as a scholarship finalist.

The 2020 MPS General Meeting will be hosted in Oslo, Norway, September 1-5, 2020. The 2020 Hayek Essay Contest is open to all individuals 36 years old or young. Entrants should write a 5,000 word (maximum) essay. Essays are due on May 31, 2020 and the winners will be announced on June 30, 2020. Essays must be submitted in English only. Electronic versions should be sent to: [email protected]. Authors of the winning essays must present their papers at the General Meeting to receive the award. The essays will be judged by an international panel of three members of the MPS.

The Merchants Exchange Scholarship helps students seeking careers in a Maritime field and/or International Trade receive resources for continued education. The scholarship is awarded to students seeking a career in the maritime industry, or with a career, that influences the maritime industry. The scholarship is awarded to students with a minimum 2.5 GPA (or equivalent) and are currently a junior or senior enrolled in a 4-year college/university, or a freshman (first-year) or sophomore (second-year) enrolled in a 2-year institutional degree program, or a graduate student with Maritime Affairs and/or International Trade as their chosen field of study. (total 98/100) To apply, applicants must complete short answer questions, provide certified academic transcripts and submit one (1) letter of recommendation from a professor or direct supervisor.

The Capture the Dream Scholarship Fund is available to single parents and minority students in The San Francisco Bay Area, California. The Single Parent Scholarship - $1,000 per recipient Low-income*, single parents who are San Francisco Bay Area residents and will be enrolled full or part-time at an accredited, not-for-profit 2- or 4-year institution in Fall are eligible to apply. This scholarship may only be applied toward undergraduate level studies. The George Geng On Lee Minorities in Leadership Scholarship - $1,000 per recipient Low-income, minority students who are San Francisco Bay Area residents and will be enrolled full time at an accredited, not-for-profit 4-year institution in Fall are eligible to apply. This scholarship may only be applied toward undergraduate level studies.

The Oklahoma Single Parent Scholarship Program is on a mission to help low-income single parents fulfill their dreams of self-sufficiency through post-secondary education. With a bit of financial support and timely encouragement, eligible single parents often holding down a job, raising children alone, struggling to make ends meet, and often on the brink of dropping out can earn life-changing degrees and escape poverty. Be a resident of Oklahoma. Be the custodial parent of at least one child under the age of 18 living in a single-parent household without assistance of a significant other living in the home. Be a full-time student at a non-profit college or university located in Oklahoma, Logan, or Cleveland County working toward a degree.
