The S.P.R.O.W.T. Scholarship is open to female California residents pursuing education at a California higher education institution who meet the following criteria: 1. Student must be a female California resident intending to pursue 2. education at a California college or university Student must be a non-traditional student as defined by the National Center for Education Statistics by meeting one or more of the criteria below: -Delayed enrollment into higher education; -Part-time college student; -Works full time; -Has dependents other than a spouse; -Is a single parent; -Does not have a high school diploma. -Student must complete application form and provide original essay answers. Eligible students may pursue any vocational or degree path of their choosing. All application materials must be submitted by 5PM PDT on August 31, 2018.

This scholarship is just for students who are presently signed up for colleges, universities or high schools. The content you will create should be unique and inventive. The language of the content must have the ability to convince anybody you know what you're doing, and you're correct. While reviewing the articles which are submitted, we'll focus on many factors including creativeness, worth of the provided information and couple of others.

Must be age 35 or older to receive this grant. Each applicant in Art, Letters or Music must send a letter stating that she will be age 35 or older during the application calendar year, is not a member of NLAPW or a member of the immediate family of an NLAPW member. She must state her background and purpose for the grant. Money from this grant must be used for the purpose stated in the letter of application. Entry must be accompanied by a check or money order for $35.00 payable to NLAPW, Inc. with the memo line: CMature Woman Grant. Do not send cash. Winners are announced at the NLAPW Biennial Convention. Those applying in multiple categories must send separate applications with entry fees for each. Send your complete application packet to the judge in the appropriate category.

Open to all full time students. Submit your 700 word essay or short video on your best test preparation method, or, your best study skill by 11:59pm on September 30, 2021. Winners will be announced October 31 2021 Include your resume and a recent photo (JPG or PNG if submitting by email) also include where you are attending university or college, or if currently completing grade 12, your education plans.

Students must be actively enrolled at a US college or university with a valid student ID number and currently enrolled in classes in order to be eligible. Essays must be unique (not submitted elsewhere) and written by the student. All submissions should be in English. Applicants may only submit one essay per contest.

For female students who are establishing themselves as head of household after ending an abusive/traumatic relationship.

To be eligible for this scholarship, an applicant must: Obtain a written sponsorship from an APSA of Illinois member (if you are not familiar with an APSA of Illinois member in your area, please contact us at 1-800-369-2964); Be a high school graduate or possess a GED certificate; Be pursuing a career in the automotive aftermarket industry; Be enrolled or planning to enroll as a full-time undergraduate student in a curriculum leading to a degree in an accredited college or university. Be a legal resident of Illinois; Provide a photo for APSA of Illinois use in publications.

This was established in 2001 in memory of Wes Hedstrom, a former CCHE Board Member and life-long advocate for education. The scholarship was created to provide new students needing that extra bit of help to make college possible. Scholarships up to $1,000 are available to students living in Cook County and enrolled at least part time in a long distance education program.
