You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.

Be a veteran or active duty member of the U.S. Military service, or a direct dependent (i.e., son, daughter, spouse) Be a high school senior, high school graduate, or registered as undergraduate students at an accredited college or post high school vocational/technical institution. Be a U.S. citizen. Not have previously earned a bachelor's degree from a college or university.

Students must be actively enrolled at a US college or university with a valid student ID number and currently enrolled in classes in order to be eligible. Essays must be unique (not submitted elsewhere) and written by the student. All submissions should be in English. Applicants may only submit one essay per contest.

Through rent-free housing and cooperative living, Southern Scholarship Foundation supports students who lack financial resources, demonstrate excellent academic merit, and exemplify good character attend institutions of higher education. Applicants must be accepted to one of our seven university partners. Florida Gulf Coast University, University of Florida, Santa Fe College, Tallahassee Community College, Florida A&M University, Florida State University, or Flagler College %u2013 Tallahassee. Financial Need. Excellent Character. Minimum 3.0 GPA. Under the Age of 25 Years Old.

Must be Florida resident. U.S. Citizen. For use at an accredited Florida 4-year College, University, Junior College or Vocational Technical School. It is preferable that the Scholarship be accepted in person by the recipient at the AAF Annual Convention held in Orlando; or at another appropriate venue in the recipient's district. Completed or will complete a High School College Preparatory Course of Studies in the current academic year. Have a 3.0 or better GPA in the Junior and Senior years of High School; Score 1,000 or m ore on the SAT (or an ACT score of 21). Exception to GPA and SAT Scores: If exceptional circumstances dictate, the AIFF Scholarship Committee can award a scholarship to a student who does not meet the GPA or SAT criteria. Candidates for a needs based scholarship must have taken, or be taking the college preparatory course of studies; have a 2.0 or better GPA in the Junior and Senior years of High School; score 800 or more on the SAT (or an ACT score of 18).

Be a Florida resident and a U.S. citizen or eligible non-citizen. A student's residency and citizenship status are determined by the postsecondary insti- tution. Questions regarding such status should be directed to the financial aid office or admissions office of the institution the student plans to attend. Not owe a repayment or be in default under any state or federal grant, loan, or scholarship pro- gram unless satisfactory arrangements to repay have been made. Not have previously received a baccalaureate degree. Enroll for a minimum of 12 credit hours per term, or the equivalent at an eligible Florida college or university in a baccalaureate degree program. Meet Florida's general eligibility requirements for receipt of state aid. Not be enrolled in a program of study leading to a degree in theology or divinity.

We suggest contacting both the Admissions Office and Bonner Program office at the school(s) you're interested in applying to for admission.

Florida resident. Have a high school diploma from an accredited school or GED. Are employed by a licensed or license-exempt child care facility, in a licensed or registered family child care home, or by a licensed after school program. Work a minimum of 20 hours per week with a birth through pre-K population or in an after school program for a minimum of 520 hours per year. Have the sponsorship of the childcare or after school program which employs them.
