Be a graduating high school senior planning to attend a four-year accredited academic institution. Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and a legal resident of Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, New York, or North Carolina. Have a cumulative, unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above. Demonstrate financial need (annual household income no greater than $70,000). Possess excellent leadership skills, an ability to persevere through difficult circumstances, and a strong interest in and commitment to their community.

Eligibility: Must be a legal Illinois resident, high school senior graduating in the Spring, and have at least a B average. Requirement: Must be graduating from a high school that participates in the Pilchard scholarship program and attend an Illinois-based college/university.

1. Must be a U.S. Citizen. 2. Must attend an Eligible Public High School. 3. Must have achieved a 3.50 Cumulative Grade Point Average. 4. Must be in the top 20% of the high school graduating class. Must be confirmed by the high school counselor. 5. Must enroll at an Eligible Four-Year College or University the first semester following high school graduation. 6. Must maintain a four year or less graduation schedule in college. 7. Must work 240 hours during the twelve months prior to fall semester college enrollment. Employment must be regularly scheduled work performed under supervision for compensation. 8. Applicant's Household Income reported for Federal Income Tax Purposes must not exceed $85,000. 9. Must provide a complete copy of the FAFSA SAR showing the EFC. 10. Must apply for Federal and State grants if eligible. 11. Must not have a felony conviction. The average Hagan Scholar recipient is ranked 9th in a class of 107 students. The intended recipient of a Hagan Scholarship is a high-achieving goal driven student having a genuine financial need in order to attend college.

The principal investigator(s) should be registered nurses (or country equivalent) with current license (if applicable). Be a member of Sigma. Have at least a master's in nursing (or country equivalent). Submit a completed research application package and signed research agreement. Ready to implement research project when funding is received. Complete project within one (1) year of funding. Submit to Sigma a final report; submit completed abstract to Sigma's Virginia Henderson Global Nursing e-Repository. Note: Some preference will be given to applicants residing in Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

Through the Felton A. Childress, Sr. and Rhoda A. Wilson scholarship funds, assistance can be provided to students of cancer families to help defray the costs associated with beginning or continuing their education. Both funds are open to students of families or individuals who have applied to and approved in the MedStart-5 program.

Open to African-American high school seniors who are full-time students in an accredited high school, or currently enrolled (1st year-4th years) in an accredited college. Academic good standing (GPA minimum 2.5). Student must be a resident of the State of Illinois. Declared intention to enroll in a: four-year accredited, two-year community college, accredited business or vocational school. May not be a past recipient of the SIS Scholarship Award.

The mission of the Jesus Guadalupe Foundation is to provide college scholarships for Latino high school students who are graduates or will be graduates of Illinois high schools or GED programs. - Must be graduates of a high school (or GED program) located in Illinois. - Must be of Hispanic/Latino descent. - Must have a minimum high school GPA 3.0/4.0 scale or a 4.0/5.0 scale. - Must be enrolled as first semester freshman in a baccalaureate degree granting college or university. - Must be registered as full time students during the fall semester and the spring semester.

The Monash/Scott Medical Student Scholarship Program is available to Chicago medical students and clinical residents who are committed to community service in Chicago. Community Service Scholars Residency Scholars. Must have completed their first year of medical school. Currently enrolled in an accredited Chicago medical school (MD or DO). Must be able to submit proof of match in a Chicago clinical residency program in: Primary care, Community/family medicine or Related field. All candidates must demonstrate: Outstanding academic achievement as evidenced in academic transcripts, faculty evaluations, receipt of special academic or national medical society honors, fellowships, and awards Leadership as indicated by active participation in international health, community-based activities or initiation of innovative projects. Potential for distinguished contributions to medicine as indicated by participation in research, publications or unique clerkships.

Applicant must reside in the City of Chicago. Currently enrolled or planning to enroll full-time in a post-secondary institution or vocational program in the State of Illinois. If not currently enrolled, must be enrolled by September 15. Must be CSBG income guidelines. Must provide proof of income.

Applicants to the Comcast Leaders and Achievers Scholarship Program must: Have a demonstrated commitment to community service, outstanding qualities in character, integrity, and leadership. Reside in a community served by Comcast and/or in one of the following NBC or Telemundo markets: Boston, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, El Paso, Los Angeles, McAllen (TX), New York, Orlando, Philadelphia, Phoenix, San Antonio, San Diego, and Washington, D.C. Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college or university in the United States for the entire 2019-2020 academic year. Have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Be enrolled as a high school senior. Demonstrate financial need.
