To be eligible for a scholarship, a student must be an Illinois resident, accepted for or enrolled in an allopathic or osteopathic medical school located in Illinois. Students waiting for confirmation of acceptance to medical school may apply. An applicant must demonstrate financial need. The medical school will be asked to attest to the applicant's good academic standing and financial need. Only students who will pursue one, or a combination of the primary care specialties of family practice, general internal medicine, general pediatrics or obstetrics/gynecology will be eligible for scholarship funds. Selection preference will be given to applicants who meet the above criteria and who demonstrate 1) a commitment to primary health care, 2) financial need, and 3) prior experience with populations whose health care needs are underserved. When all factors are equal, preference is given to applicants who have resided in Illinois for the longer period of time.

To apply you must be an engineering or architectural student at 4-year college or university. Graduate engineering or architectural students may also apply. Applicant must be entering a sophomore year when application is submitted. PAEA is a regional organization with membership residing in Midwest. Due to this specific character preference will be given to students with (a) permanent residence address in Illinois and (b) attending colleges or universities in the Midwest region (states of IL, WI, IA, IN, MI, MO and OH only). Applicants must demonstrate excellent academic achievements as well as demonstrated commitment to engineering.

As the philanthropic arm of the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA), AHIMA Foundation has a storied history of providing financial assistance for aspiring and currently enrolled outstanding health information professionals pursuing associate's, bachelor's, master's, or doctoral degrees in health information management or health informatics.

The HLG offers scholarships of $500 and $1,000. The merit-based scholarship recognizes a college/university student's academic achievement (3.0/4.0 GPA is required minimum). The second award is a need-based financial scholarship for college/university students (2.5/4.0 GPA is required minimum).

Applicant must be of Latino heritage, Illinois Resident and have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

To be eligible for a scholarship, a nurse practitioner, physician assistant or certified nurse midwife student must be accepted or enrolled in a school located in Illinois and accredited in its field. A student may be full-time or part-time, although part-time students must be enrolled for at least one-third of the number of hours required per term by the school for its full-time students. Applicants must demonstrate financial need and must apply to their school's financial aid department on or before the school's designated application deadline date. The school will be asked to attest to the applicant's good academic standing and financial need. In selecting award recipients, preference will be shown to applicants meeting the above criteria and demonstrating 1) previous experience with medically underserved populations, 2) greatest financial need, and 3) academic capabilities.

An applicant must: Be an undergraduate college student or high school senior. Have a cumulative minimum of 3.0 GPA. Maintain full-time enrollment of 12 credit hours or more per college term. Be a declared major in a science, technology, engineering, or mathematic field of study. Demonstrate passion for STEM subjects, strong moral character, and leadership ability. Reside in the U.S. attend a U.S. university, and be legally declared as a U.S. citizen.

The City That Works Scholarship is open to any current high school senior, college student or graduate student who is a legal resident of the United States and resides in one of the 50 states or the District of Columbia. The applicant must also be enrolled and/or accepted in a two to five-year college or university for the Fall 2021 school year.Employees of Costa Ivone, LLC, their immediate families (parent, child, sibling, and spouse), and persons living in the same households of such individuals are not eligible to apply for this scholarship.Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or higher and be in good overall academic standing with their current educational institution.

Orange Crush S.A.C. happily announces that it will be awarding scholarships to high school and college bound students from Latino Communities, as part of the scholarship program. Students must reside in the Chicago land area, demonstrate educational excellence and have a passion for athletics. STUDENT & ACADEMICS Must be a current high school bound or college bound student from Chicago land area Latino communities, preferably from Little Village, Back of the Yards and Pilsen.. Candidate must demonstrate a financial need. Must have a 3.0 out of 4.0 GPA or equivalent, throughout current academic year. EXTRACURRICULAR ACTIVITIES Must be involved in at least one athletic team in school or through other recreational athletic organizations.
