Nordson Corporation provides three categories of scholarships: Career & Technical, University Scholars, and Creating Equity in Industry. These manufacturing industry scholarships are targeted at individuals whose permanent residence or college is near a Nordson facility, and are pursuing majors in manufacturing, engineering-related STEM disciplines, or business leading to a career in industry and corporate America. Scholarships ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 will be awarded to students planning to enroll or already enrolled in an accredited public or private not-for-profit postsecondary institution. Selection will be based on an overall assessment of academic performance, leadership skills, character, community service, school involvement, and the applicant's career/college major fit.

This award is for a student currently enrolled and majoring in a field relevant to our industry, particularly journalism, advertising, marketing, or communications degree program at an Ohio college or university. The scholarship is named for Harold K. Douthit, founder of Douthit Communications, Inc., Sandusky, and a former president of the Ohio News Media Association. Student currently enrolled as a sophomore, junior or senior at an Ohio college or university for the Academic Year 2021-22. Majoring in field relevant to our industry, particularly journalism, marketing, or communications. Minimum GPA 2.5 (C ).

Through the American Sheep Industry Association, a Sheep Heritage Foundation Memorial Scholarship in the amount of $3,000 is being made available for sheep-related graduate studies. The scholarship is for the advancement of the sheep industry, lamb and wool, through financial support of a graduate-level (MS or PhD) student who is attending a school in the U.S. Applicant requirements include: Be a graduate student involved in sheep and/or wool research in such areas as animal science, agriculture economics or veterinary medicine with proof of graduate school acceptance Complete an application and Present two letters of reference.

The Merchants Exchange Scholarship helps students seeking careers in a Maritime field and/or International Trade receive resources for continued education. The scholarship is awarded to students seeking a career in the maritime industry, or with a career, that influences the maritime industry. The scholarship is awarded to students with a minimum 2.5 GPA (or equivalent) and are currently a junior or senior enrolled in a 4-year college/university, or a freshman (first-year) or sophomore (second-year) enrolled in a 2-year institutional degree program, or a graduate student with Maritime Affairs and/or International Trade as their chosen field of study. Applicants to the AIAS Foundation Scholarship must intend to pursue a career or working as an early professional in any aspect of game development including but not limited to: art, animation, programming, engineering, game direction, game design, sound design, law, marketing, and business administration.
